We call it the Woodyard - a space at Knott Landfill, where long-time partner, Deschutes County Solid Waste, generously allows us to store and chop wood. Wood is donated by lumber mills or project sponsors, and is a perfect opportunity for training youth to use equipment like chainsaws. We have been selling cords of firewood for years, split and delivered to your front door. The revenue from firewood pays youth wages while they receive job skills training and allows us to donate some cords to families in need every year.
