Become a Food Hero in Jefferson County!
Join the Heart of Oregon Corps AmeriCorps Food Heroes Program and make a real impact in your community. As a Food Hero, you'll help fight food insecurity by growing and distributing fresh produce, supporting the Madras Community Food Pantry, and delivering Meals on Wheels to those in need. You'll gain hands-on experience, earn certifications in logistics, food handling, and horticulture, and build leadership skills that open doors to future careers.
Heart of Oregon Corps offers more than service—it's a chance to grow, lead, and transform lives, including your own. Members are local youth ages 17–24 ready to become changemakers in their communities.
